Freehold community titled. What they dont mention is size - whats the guess for $189k? Id say 20 - 30 sqm? i'd say you're about on the mark; and that would get you something at the back, lower levels only (same way apartments work; the higher you go and the bettwr the view, the more expensive the p...

I agree and certainly do not want to be known as a "wowser"; complaining about the most pedantic little things just because I can. I'm not the type of person who buys an apartment in the CBD, then expects everything around me to change (e.g. east end residents complaining about noise from ...

Okay if you want grimey, the low rise building (from memory it is about 5-6 storeys) next to the Westpac branch on the corner of Grenfell and KWS. It is a building around the same era as the BankSA building but looks absolutely disgusting from years of neglect and filth (to the point that the stone...

Re: apologies to pistol

Okay I take up your challenge and give you at least one example. The 'Radio Cabinet' BankSA building on King William And it looks a lot better since they cleaned it over two years ago... that is very good; i have always admired that building too.....however, it's essentially a generic building with...

It is located right next door to the proposed building's glass lift shaft + service lane. I understand that the area is CBD, but regardless of what future develop...

The Reserve Bank Building is Adelaide's finest multi-storey. I have heard there is a heritage-listed 60's reception area in there somewhere, with orange plush-pile carpet and a marble counter. the MLC Building (due west of this, 11 storeys, green glass) and the Westpac building (North Tce/King Willi...

I live next door to this proposal on Gilbert Place. In principle, I would love to see this development proceed, but in its current form, will destroy everything good about my apartment building. The developer did approach us and offered peanuts, did not consult with us at any stage and now all the a...
