Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
We will be getting the Regional config A350-900's. They'll only have Business and Economy, no Premium Economy. Seating is 1-2-1 and 3-3-3 respectively. The Regional A350's are still in build. Rego's will be 9V-SH_ The long-haul A350's (the ones already in operation) are 9V-SM_ The ULR's (due shortly...

Re: News & Discussion: Road Issues & Traffic Congestion
If they wanted to solve this properly, one of two things is needed: Either: Traffic splits south of Port Wakefield, and Yorke Peninsula traffic goes through Port Wakefield and Port Augusta traffic bypasses. or Traffic splits north of Port Wakefield and all traffic goes through Port Wakefield on a du...

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor
It looks as though there are some properties that have been demolished or acquired to the north of Torrens Road, near the bend. Any one know if they're planning to do that bit too. From my point of view, it would seem logical to extend the project just beyond Torrens Road and smoothen out that bend....

They should also widen James Congdon Drive between Sir Donald Bradman Drive and South Road to help with this too. That also has a wide median strip that could easily be revamped to two lanes each way.
That would be a reasonable alternate route for some traffic.

I heard on the radio today that the design for T2T has been modified such that the power substation won't need to be relocated and will remain in it's current location.

[COM] Re: COM: South Road Superway | $842m | 3km
I use this once per week in both directions on a commute between business locations. Yesterday whilst heading north, it appears this has created a large bottle neck where traffic merges from the Port River expressway onto Port Wakefield Road in a northerly direction. It is a single lane merge. I'm ...

Northern Expressway - increase limit to 130kmh?
The Government really should up the speed limit on the Northern Expressway to 130.

Re: #Transport Projects
And whats with those lights at Gray Street at the western end of Currie Street. I reckon 90% of time i travel through there they are red for Currie Street. :x Again, I've lost count of the number of times I've driven West, hit the Grey street lights on Red, then, whilst I'm sitting there waiting, I...

Re: #Transport Projects
I've never driven down there in peak hour, but even at about 2-3PM (eastbound), it's usually enough of a line that I feel it's un-justifiable. There are usually only about 2-4 buses along the whole length, and generally, they're pulled over to pick up/drop off. I notice a lot of people drive throug...

Re: SA rural roads reduced to 100kph
I wish they'd take a serious look at raising the speed limit on the national highways to 130km/h. The biggest killer on the open road is not "speed", it's fatigue, inattention and inexperience. The government need to place more of a focus on training younger people how to drive properly. A...

Re: #VIS Grenfell Public Transport Hub
Hmm, can't say I'm entirely a fan of this. Adjustments were made to North Terrace, which basically means that is now full of traffic lights and is difficult to drive through. Now they want to take one of only two reasonable thoroughfares for cars in the city, and turn it into a public transport only...

Re: #PRO: City Busway - O-Bahn to West Tce
They'd fix the sequence on Grenfell/Currie but then you'll come here and bitch about the sequences on King William and Pulteney. The obvious solution is to take the bus, read a book and stress less. I don't stress that much actually. I just hate seeing stupid things happen for unnecessary reasons. ...
