Re: Qantas Failing Adelaide
Hopefully one day it will be possible to fly Adelaide direct to Frankfurt/Charles de Gaulle International with Qantas, i hate the pit stop in Singapore . Do you know of such a plane with the fuel capacity? Correct me if I am wrong but couldn't that be done on a new Boeing 747-400ER? Earlier t...

Re: Development on Westend railyards
So why can't the inter-state trains come back to Adelaide station? Just because the gauge? Come on!! How hard is it to lay some track for God's sake and if the platform isn't long enough, extend it! Surely this can be retro-fitted. Seems as though we constantly focus on the problems and not the sol...

Re: Vision: Light Square Tower - 100f / 500m
An Adelaide Architect told me that this was not a proposal at all, it was just a concept to get a debate going about building taller towers in Adelaide. Not 500m ones rather 200m+ towers, as we are lacking them atm

Re: Perth opens first underground station
Whats the point of building a underground network in Adelaide when our population is going to stay under 2 million?
Yeah maybe chuck out a few concepts to get a debate going, to then look at building one in 10 to 15 years, but it would be useless without a bigger population

Re: Vision: Light Square Tower - 100f / 500m
Where are some serious proposals? We need more 150-200m towers before we start proposing 500m towers
BTW, what has been happening lately to the height restriction on buildings in the city? Does it still exist?

[COM] Re: #Proposal: 97m Victoria Square Tower
The problem is that people don't know what they want, they are too stuck in there ways and most of the time too conservative. Also politicians don't want to take huge risks, they just don't have the balls. What Adelaide needs is a Jack Lang!!

[COM] Re: $1.7bn plan to build a new RAH
In several previous posts I mentioned access was going to be an issue with this project, now a well qualified architect makes it a point. Has he got it right? Cheers Keith Neighbour may be a qualified Architect, but that does not mean that he is not a conservative. Its people like that who are stop...
