Re: Desalination plant for Adelaide
I think I remember hearing somewhere, and I'm not sure if my brain is just making this up, but I thought someone a while back on the tv or radio or something said that doubling the size of the desal plant should mean that we should not need to rely on the Murray at all? Anyone have any idea if this...

Some of you bought it :P Sorry if some people fail to see the humour in a little pratical joke. Shuz, please do not portray yourself as the victim of this saga. The true victim is the reputation of this website. Very influential and important people visit this website. Imagine if someone at AAL had...

Re: 14-12
Ok, so the PAFC competing in the AFL has 139 years of football heritage, including the last 12 years in the AFL... And the new PAMFC competing in the SANFL only has a heritage going back to 1997? It seems that the PAFC (AFL) has obtained an AFL license and taken which bits they want (some players, c...

I believe this proposal (at least in its current form) is dead. The DAC won't approve at risk of appearing to support a 'future slum', esp in an election year. There's no guarantee the DAC approving this will result in a nett increase in votes for labor - so why risk it. Note: i'm not stating my pe...

I knew it :D I just don't get why you are constantly willing to believe this particular development is about to stall or not proceed at all? I think a bit more evidence (not Advertiser crap) and speculation is needed before we jump on that bandwagon. These claims can be very damaging for particular...

I watch this building every day and it is coming along rather quickly now. I will post an update pic later today. Ben, to me, this building is not coming...

I'm not saying this building is or isn't going to stall but... It does have a long, long way to go before it is complete! Where is the formwork for fire escapes? Where is the formwork for lifts and lift run off's? Where is all of the expensive plant and machinery, come to think of it, where is the p...
