[COM] Re: 115 King William Street | 90m | 26lvls | Office
The site seemed pretty quiet on Thursday 10th March. Here is a shot from the Level 17 of Westpac House. It was a quick shot, it's pretty poor from the iphone!

Re: New Power Generator on Torrens Island
So Wayno, referring to my post above, on that day, we were generating more than 33% of our power from wind generation, maybe no-one is actually on Green Power plans, but the fact was, 33% of the electricity used in the state, was generated from wind. Now obviously, on some days, the wind generation ...

Re: New Power Generator on Torrens Island
I was having a bit of a surf on the aemo site www.aemo.com.au and found this. Hopefully there might be some better statistics around of wind generation output, if we are lucky, but certainly at this point, we were actually generating over 33% of our states's power requirement from wind.

Re: Desalination plant for Adelaide
It is the SEWER component that is based on the capital valution of your property. Water is simply charged by a supply fee, and then a per KL usage fee, which has tiers so you pay more if you are a big user. If you aren't connected to SA Water Sewer (I'm an example) you don't pay the SEWER fee. This ...

Re: Survey for Barossa Rail Passeger service.
Good one! But no from Elizabeth there is plenty of spare seats, at Salisbury it fills up pretty well, sometimes some people stand, but if you get on at Mawson Lakes, you would be pretty lucky to get a seat. Not saying that I don't support a train to the Barossa though, it sounds like a great idea ...

Re: Survey for Barossa Rail Passeger service.
Not so much regarding the Barossa service, but regarding the overcrowding - I catch the Gawler Train at Elizabeth station around 7.50 or so, which gets me in the City around 8.30, usually only Fridays and some Thursdays. I have been doing this for about 6 months and have had to stand once. At this ...

Re: Electrification and Resleepering of TransAdelaide Network
Hold on, the haven't said they will never electrify the Belair line, they just haven't announced it in this budget. From the DTEI paper : "The Federal Government has committed $3m on a study into the future of the Hills Freight Rail line, which runs alongside the Belair passenger line through the ...

Re: Westpac House
A bit of trivia for you, when it was built as the State Bank building, some of the floors in the old State Bank (now BankSA) building (97 KWS) were connected directly to the tower. I remember you could walk across from Level 1, 97 KWS and that connected with Level 2, State Bank Tower, and also Level ...
