Will the tunnel near Flinders Tonsley site be widened to 3 lanes each way, and realigned?

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

With the revised extent of the cut and cover portion of the tunnel that was announced a few months ago, there are a few businesses still operating in buildings that will be demolished. The project maps seem to indicate that the OTR is the last one that needs to go, although I've also heard that the...

and meanwhile David spears is still campaigning to try and have the majors Rd interchange stopped (a project that he supported up until campaigning started before the last election) because apparently the locals are against it.

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

It looks as if preparation works have started for the majors road on/off ramps. some concretes barriers have gone up with areas of ground looking as if they’ve had a grader smooth it off. There’s also some sort of steel structure that looks like it may be used for filling up water trucks for dust su...

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

They're now up to 3 lanes out of commission at Darlington northbound (2 isolated by conrete barriers for workers and contruction vehicles, one coned off to keep people off the conrete fence), and they have ripped out almost every concrete panel between the rail bridge and Sturt Rd, including the on...

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

The Majors Rd entry/exit will be a game changer for you then. Definitely. Even better for northbound because I don't even have an option to access the motorway until Darlington at the moment Sent from my SM-G996B using Tapatalk I thought the Libs / Spears said it was a useless upgrade? Sent from my...

What’s currently on the site?
Basically nothing.
There is open air carparking on the northern half of the site, and a four level office building on the southern half.
Thanks, the reason I asked is google maps street view is sometimes a few years behind.

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

One of the lanes in each direction in the tunnel should be a HOV (bus/truck) lane. I know it failed but a bus lane along Anzac Highway from South Road to City should be implemented either on side or middle like Hackney Road . What’s so special about the tunnel? it’s not done on any other part north...
