Bridges over the Gawler River were far from complete as at March 30 (Nearmap image). Also of interest is the spur on the northbound carriageway at the Port Wakefield Road end for the Northern Connector. The Port Wakefield Road bridge itself clearly caters for both carriageways and the central rail ...

I work on the project and although i find the roundabouts uncomfortable to drive around, traffic lights are a pain in the arse.

Why have they alienated the alignment of all the interchanges that cross over the expressway? Now the road geography of the area is all jumbled. I find it amusing that none of adelaides major roads seem to be named after anybody - for example in perth there is the Graham Farmer Freeway, Tonkin Hwy, Roe Hwy etc. But in Adelaide we seem to keep it simple, Southern Expressway, Northern Expressway.
