lol none So everybody is free to decide on what's important to them, or just you? I've got more productive things to do I suspect that's probably not true. I take it you're a fan of the cranker, and possibly attended the protest? You couldn't be more wrong. I think I've been in there once, didn't a...

 people outraged at a proposed pub redevelopment to the point they're in the streets protesting in front of parliament, while there's actual issues like the cost of living crisis, people ending up homeless, kids going hungry, the mental health crisis, while hundreds of millions are thrown at w...

What is Karidis current involvement?
Don't believe the property has sold since 2004?
So do they still own it, and are quietly hiding behind the off-shore "developer"?

EFTPOS killing the cash rinsing business is probably more their issue.ChillyPhilly wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 1:58 pmI'm quite alarmed by these small bar and club closures.

Re: News & Developments: Port Adelaide
Just heard from a friend that the building firm linked to Fletchers Slip has gone under. Can anyone shed any further light on this and what it means for The Port? Just heard over $4m owed to creditors. Yikes. The final number will end up much more than this, if they had $110M work on the books.

Who owns the wool sheds and how many are vacant? From strolls I've had around the area there still seems to be activity associated with some of them, and a year ago at least one still stored wool (which for some reason I found surprising). This one has recently changed hands:- 1.png 2.png 3.png

Re: News & Developments: Other Suburban Retail
I thought with the redevelopment of the Port Plaza, which looks good, that there would have also been an upgrade of both K-Mart and Coles during that work. I was down there just prior to Christmas last year and was surprised how tired it and dated it looked compared to other K-marts and although Co...
