[COM] Re: 20 Toms Court | 49m | 14 Levels | Hotel

There seems to be some action with this one, it's easily missed given its position. Over the last few months there seems to have been quite a bit of utilities upgrades in Toms Court and the intersection with Halifax St. Then just recently a section of the Halifax St median strip has been removed for...

Re: Dubai - An example to look up to

Here we go, this guy has the same idea... Build a giant theme park in the Adelaide parklands and they will come http://www.news.com.au/national/build-a-giant-theme-park-in-the-adelaide-parklands-and-they-will-come/story-e6frfkp9-1226782391372 I can't say I fully agree with this opinion. Not every ci...

After a bit of a search around. It's just okay in my opinion.

Walked by this today and was excited to see the first braces added. I reckon the reflections against the glass will add even more interest.

Re: #PRO: City Busway - O-Bahn to West Tce

The only option I can see is to remove some of the load from Grenfell/Currie St to be able to add bus only lanes. Basically I reckon Grenfell/Currie St should become one way for normal traffic only and also make Pirie/Waymouth Street one way in the opposite direction. I was thinking that Currie St c...

Signs are out around the Vic Sq area that Franklin St will be closed on the 18th of December (a Saturday). Safe to assume this will be for putting the crane up for this one?

[COM] Re: #U/R: Colonial Mutual Building > Rydges Hotel

It's a Anglicare store. Hopefully they're just using it in the lead up to Christmas. I can't see any construction happening with this one while there is a tenant in the building considering they got rid of all the old tenants prior to the first commencement attempt. Such a shame to see this building...

[COM] Re: #U/R: Colonial Mutual Building > Rydges Hotel

Don't know if this is good or bad news... Over the last week there has been some action in the retail tenancy on the corner of Hindley and King William Streets, seems to be getting a new fit out. I can't imagine a hotel needing a sales showroom thing, so if they've signed up a tenant it doesn't look...

Re: News: Adelaide City Council

I think you'll find that most of the students living in the city council area aren't rate payers, hence they won't have a vote. I'll count myself as one of the younger voters, and I have never voted in a council election. I might be swayed to vote this time round, and for the record I actually have ...

[CAN] Re: #U/C: The Precinct - 5 19 lvl - 62m towers

Hi All, Long time lurker of the site here, thought I'd finally register. I live and work in the city so typically get to see a lot of the developments on a daily basis. Anyway, happened to walk past this site this morning... and the crane base sections were being delivered. The sections were black, ...
