Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
I wonder (or hope, rather) this might be a stepping stone for Qantas announcing flights from Adelaide to New York (stop-over/re-fueling in Auckland)? Better yet, with United Airlines coming to Adelaide whether they might consider this as a secondary route? Seeing as Auckland are positioning ...

Anyone know why tonight's (now yesterday's) QTR915/QR915 ADL-DOH flight was running nearly an hour late and flying to CMB (Bandaranaike International Colombo, Sri Lanka)?

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Also didn't Air Asia fly to Adelaide pre covid?
You are referring to flights to Kuala Lumpur.
It's good news though, Jetstar currently have the monopoly with flights to Bali. Hopefully Virgin will recommence flights soon.
Good news for those wanting to fly on the cheap into SE Asia, but ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Thanks for picking this up alexczarn from Ben Schlappig. He seems to have got this bit of news out pretty quickly beating even some of the US travel mags.
Definitely good news for anyone wanting to fly direct to the USA. Now that we have this (seasonal) service I hope you all take advantage of it ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
With 2025 now here what new airlines or increases in frequencies do we all expect to happen or have heard this year?
If you guys keep flying Singapore Airlines you'll get a surprise. Double daily by year's end or early 2026. And wouldn't that be great an airline that has been serving SA for 40 ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Virgin Australia is about to lose customers to Jetstar and QANTAS as they suspend flights to DRW from 22 June. Their excuse? Relocating capacity to more popular routes that include BNE (two daily flights), MEL (9 per week) and PER (5 to 7 weekly).
