so one year on from the opening... any news of this friggin ferris wheel?? any pics of the construction (if its happening)? I acctually like the complex to be honest, but all this ferris wheel "fluff" is getting ridiculous...

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!! What did everyone get up to this new years? I watched the fireworks from the Chiffley on South Terrace, although I couldn't see alot of it as it was blocked by the law courts. Was it a good display? A little birdy whispered in my ear that the reason it wasn't constructed in July was because the council changed their mind on the cement that was to be used on the base. So glad it'll be up by Christmas, gonna take the neices and nephews down for a play :D Definately a big plus for the Glenelg coas...
