so one year on from the opening... any news of this friggin ferris wheel?? any pics of the construction (if its happening)? I acctually like the complex to be honest, but all this ferris wheel "fluff" is getting ridiculous...

I hope they can do this $2 bill thing. I'm deffinately in favour of more trams, they give a city character and buses are just so damn boring and annoying. Oh and the train windows - Oh.My.God! At least fork out a few bucks a week to get someone to wipe em down!

my cousins from Sydney (10 & 12 yrs old) took a trip down to the beachouse today and said it was packed. They particually liked the waterslides.

A little birdy whispered in my ear that the reason it wasn't constructed in July was because the council changed their mind on the cement that was to be used on the base. So glad it'll be up by Christmas, gonna take the neices and nephews down for a play :D Definately a big plus for the Glenelg ...
