#SWP: The Promenade - S2 l Shopping Ctr/Apartments/Offices
Loving this!!! That Woolworths in Mawson Lakes is just rubbish... Too small, not enough checkouts, lack of self serve and the car park with only 2 entrances/exits is insane. This can't come soon enough. Although I wish that the existing Woolworths became a Foodland. No harm in 2 supermarkets in Maw...

rev is revved up! Totally agree with your comments though. Surely centro would have done a business analysis before committing to anything

Re: Common sense on the roads of Adelaide
I just had the pleasure (not) of being tailgatted for about 30 kms in each direction from Tea Tree Gully to Birdwood. I don't experience the tailgatting in the metro area or on major highways - only on windy single lane roads. Sure I was taking it easy, it is Easter Sunday, but does it really matte...

Re: Beer Garden
Anyone remember the quadricycles you could rent at Bonython Park. Not sure what happened to them. They could fit four people in them. I remember as a young tacker thinking they were cool as! They had rack and pinion steering with a canopy over. Anyone have any pics of them at all?
Cheers!

Re: Electrification and Resleepering of suburban rail networ
I just had two people from DTEI knock on my door letting me know the erection of masts for electricfication will begin next week in front of my house. Would i be the only person who is excited about having 8 metre high eyesores in viewing distance from their doorstep? I'm so jealous!!! You lucky bu...

Electrification and Resleepering of suburban rail network
These photos were taken at 8.30pm tonight at Mawson Interchange. The old tracks and ballast have been removed with the new ballast being delivered today. There's still a long way to go by the looks of things. Plenty of machinery onsite. Due to be finished by first train service tomorrow morning.

Re: Vintage SA
Great blog, but this has to be from the 1970s or 80s, not the mid 90s. It looks so depressing http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lsmz8njcz71qe31y8o1_500.jpg Mid to late 80's going by the cars in the picture. It looks like something from and old school movie of a ghost town. Reminds me of the ghettos...

[COM] Re: South Rd Upgrades - News & construction ONLY | U/C: Supe
I'm confused by something. Could just be my sheer ignorance. The piers going up all seem to line up from the South and first one across GJ road lines up. Then the 2nd pier north of GJ road is offset? Is this a ramp? Nearmap shows what I'm talking about.
