By the way, construction activities are picking up on site. The construction office huts are in place now, some heavy machinery is now located on site and a driveway onto the site from Morphett Rd has been laid. So construction should be underway shortly. Hooray!

Yep, it's being built between Oaklands Park railway station and Marion Shopping Centre.
Plenty of people live south of the CBD, and the State Aquatic Centre will be a boon for them (us).

By the way, there's still very little construction action on site. A bulldozer has graded a narrow track across part of the site, and the grass has been cut, there's a lone excavator which I see parked there each night, and the blue Candetti signs have been removed from the fence surrounding the sit...
