[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread
I like it and I to wish people would get over this it needs roof...... this could end up being a very good thing for the CBD and Adelaide in general...... I am sick of the talk just build the thing so we can say bye bye to AAMI. I do agree with a prevous post that I think eventually the hill will go...

I think somethings are getting added into this "Chinese Whisper" The Bradman stand will go along with all current stands except the new western one. the SANFL if it sells land from AAMI will go into the SANFL coffers. The SANFL will still have an asset it can control and get some revenue f...

Whicker also said that staying at West Lakes is out of the question for football, because 'there is no possibility of generating any more income from West Lakes, because there are simply no funds available to improve the site. Do you know if any audio exist of this? I am not surprised to hear (not ...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread
there's nothing wrong with the trending at Adelaide United as far as crowds go FFS they finished on the bottom of the ladder and played 6 more rounds, yet still they maintained their crowds. like i said...you've already made your point..the same one umpteen times Prove it to me otherwise about the ...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread
Yes that’s right due to the size of AAMI Park I knew it something like that why it wasn't in the bid. Anyway I would think United would want to get 20k plus average to a 27k stadium and like I said the trending for United doesn't help the cause of getting a new stadium let alone works done to Hindma...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread
I would think the attendance numbers would increase but I am not sure the increase would be enough to warrant a 27K plus stadium for one tenant. Wouldn’t a 27K plus stadium be too big and expensive for United to use? Let’s face it AO is the best use for any stadium upgrade in this city for a possibl...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread
My trending says no that the crowds at United’s games are not increase but in fact dropping and they haven’t rise every year since the A League’s inception. Sorry but get some clarity of your facts before posting. If they where trending up to the point in 8 – 12 years they would get around 20k plus ...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread
Adelaide has not managed fine with, Adelaide Oval needs to get more happening at the ground for it to be viable and that it’s a well known fact, part of the reason for years they have been chasing a Victorian club to play a home game there against the Crows or Port. It needs either have this happen ...

The reality is Labor is putting its money into AO therefore will not spend $535 million and then have to spend $125 million on a rectangular stadium. The dollar for dollar spend which is need for any WC federal money is in AO. So if for unknown reason AO cannot be made FIFA compliant it will cost SA...

The feds won't pay the total bill for a new retangular stadium in Adelaide nor anywhere else as it is a dollar for dollar spend state and federal. Labor has chosen AO as its place to spend its side therefore fed money will go into AO to make it FIFA compliant..... that is how it will play out! get o...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread
I have no doubt Port will get better crowds in a CBD stadium and Crows grow again. The fact of the matter is AAMI stadium is on the nose not only here but also with interstate travellers and this is showing in the rapidly declining numbers. A fresh start more accessible stadium for local and interst...

Tonight 7pm. Foley admits that the completed Adelaide Oval project will not be FIFA compliant. If Australia wins the World Cup for 2018 or 2022, then additional work at unknown cost will be required. Rann said before the election that there was "$450 million on the table and not a cent more&qu...

Sorry we do not need a 60-70k stadium in this city and people need to do some math on this stadia returns before they make statements like this. Just have a look at West Coasts returns on a smaller stadium and an average of 2000 less per game than the Crows. All stadia deal reports of recent times a...

Those stadiums all look nicce in render but some of them won't happen IMO. I watched the doco on the New Dallas Cowboys stadium..... now that is a stadium, granted it cost 1.2 Billion plus but some of the things they put in could easily be adapted to an AO development that would ahve people going WOW.
