[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment Thread - Now Includes Poll!
Lots of talk going around town that Govt. are looking into compulsory acquisition of AO if the vote fails.
I'd rather this happen.

Re: Official CBD Crane Counter Thread - 7
I'd speculate; RAH alone will have about 5-8 cranes - judging by other similarly sized hospital developments in the nation. AO I'm under the impression is to be done in stages, so the Southern Grandstand will have just 1, and then the Eastern 1 or 2, possibly. Convention Centre expansion will be 1, ...

Re: #VIS Grenfell Public Transport Hub
Franklin/Flinders or Angas/Gouger streets are definitely the better options for the tram loop, or the throughfare for an east-west link. Not Grote/Wakefield. As people have mentioned before, Grote/Wakefield is one of the few easily accessible east-west routes through the city and I don't think we sh...

[COM] Re: The Definitive Adelaide Oval Redevelopment Poll
Who is to say that the Liberals will still be advocating for a clone of Docklands at the 2014 election? If this falls through; you can absolutely bet that the Liberals will capitalise on the oppurtunity come the 2014 election and put up a new proposal elsewhere in the Parklands. No doubt about it.

[COM] Re: The Definitive Adelaide Oval Redevelopment Poll
Non-SACA member voting no, on the basis that I am not happy with the design proposal. It's a terrible deisgn, has no redeeming architectural features and insufficient capacity. Would vote yes if an alternative design were put forth; echoing the Liberal's sentiments of a fully enclosed indoor city st...

Re: Only in Adelaide? Hardly!
Surely one has noticed that Victorians of late have developed a mindset that they are 'superior' to everyone else in Australia, and I think that article reflects that tone similarly.

Re: If you want to change your username
Well, either I'd like to have the Shuz account unbanned/reinstated so I can just pick up where I left off, or have it get deleted, and then I just take over the name on this account. Omicron knew it was me only because I was drinking Cosmopolitans with him at the Gallery, and I let a secret slip. Le...

Re: If you want to change your username
I've tried, twice. No luck. And, anyone remember Isiskii before? Yup. That was me as well. I seemed to have forgotten the password for that account. And yes, I tried doing the forgot password link to my email, but I forgot that password as well, and I forgot my secret answer to my secret question. B...

Re: #VIS Grenfell Public Transport Hub
I've always thought that they should make Pirie/Waymouth streets the public transport throughfare. It'd hardly need any modifications; just a change in the use of the roadways. The left lanes would be the drop/off pickup lanes, and the right lane as the throughfare. All the buses which run through G...
