About half of the Woolworths extension is finally open. Unfortunately they seem to be going for a no-ceiling look, but in my honest opinion it looks really bad. I think they're trying to copy UK and USA supermarkets which generally have no ceilings, but they're in brand new purpose built buildings ...

The redevelopment has reached an exciting milestone today with the opening of the new Mall Entry by Big W! Plus the car park outside the entry offers in excess of 200 new car bays.

Re-opening the space above Harris Scarfe would certainly be a great outcome for the centre; options for this space may be considered along with any potential future redevelopment plans for the mall between Coles and Woolworths.

Although the Coles mall is not part of the current redevelopment, all options are currently being considered for any future proposed activity for this section of the centre.
