I've never seen tarmac painted to look like pavers, but it certainly sounds tacky. What's wrong with actual pavers? Also, I thought I'd read somewhere that the bridge itself was supposed to have some sort of water features, but I can't see any in those photos. Does anyone here know more about this?...

Any idea if they are going to do something about those stupid temporary stairs that you have to climb to get onto the terrace level at the Northern end of the Western stand? They create a real bottleneck during peak traffic times and will be hopeless come football time. I assumed they would eventual...

This place has a brilliant feel. I can't wait for the footy next year.

I just can't see how they are going to get people in and out of this place efficiently. Gates at the North, East and South. Possibly one out beyond Adel Oval #2 on the Western side. Compare that with AAMI, MCG etc which have 15 odd gates spread evenly around the ground, dispersing the crowd in all 3...

Good to see they finally released the dimensions for the new playing surface - 124m x 167m. Narrower but longer than AAMI at 133 x 165.

Those 2 white cubes on the decking behind the hill - are they media facilities while the new stand is being built? I assume they are only temporary?
