[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
Why the problem with Max Basheer? He made SA Footy into the powerhouse that it is today. He has been as important in the last forty years as any of the players who are on the stand next to him.

[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
I really like that theyve stuck with the red seat contrast all the way round. does anyone know if the red tier in the eastern stand will also be members only for cricket matches? It better not be! The SMA have always said the Eastern stand will be for the people. The SACA Members get too much as it...

[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
Its a pity the SACA Members aren't supporting the Australia Day ODI. The five bays they have been allocated in the Riverbank Stand are 70 per cent empty! There's 5000 seats that the General public would have loved to sat in! CA will be furious especially as the seats are going for $100 each on level...

[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
The Eastern stand holds 19000 people compared to the western stand 14000, it is actually bigger but does look smaller from the aerial shot. It is also a lot higher too. The top row from Western Stand is about 10-15 rows lower and the Eastern stand has two levels of corporate boxes/area's (stadium cl...

[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
After yesterday's strikers game, it looks like they are starting to put the seats in level 3 of the Eastern Stand and the roof has been finished for the whole stand. I know the workers will get it all finished before the stones play on March 22, but not much looks like its been done since the Strike...

Shot of the Eastern stand from Sunday night. Looks like the $700 Legends seats will get wet when it rains.
(Sorry that the photo is so big, not sure how to make it smaller)

The SOLD OUT sign has gone up! Welldone Adelaide! If all the members turn up there will be 34,000 there! Where are all those doubters who were saying its a waste of money & that people won't come! I'm pretty sure this will be the biggest crowd ever at Adelaide Oval for a domestic cricket match?!

What size crowd do you think there will be at the Strikers game on New Year's Eve? I'm expecting 25000 to 30000. You will still have plenty of people wanting to go down for a look with tickets only being $20 & only $5 for kids, there will be plenty if families there.

[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
I think the footy express will be expanded to include trains too, but I have a bad feeling that we won't be getting free transport to the Footy next year. All both clubs keep saying to members is that we are working hard with the government. If they were going to agree to free public transport they ...

[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
What do you all think is a pass mark for average footy criwds next year? Not counting sellout Showdowns. The Crows must be aiming to average between 40,000 to 45,000 & the Power must get 30,000 to 35,000. As a Crows Member our crowds were pathetic this year at Footy Park. The key attendance game...

The Southern stand was & will be ready for the ashes. The saca announced a couple of weeks ago that the bottom deck of the eastern stand will be open too so the capacity will be close to 40,000 for the test. Does anyone actually watch sunrise?

[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
I'm pretty sure they won't use the scoreboard during the footy season, there are three electronic screens so it won't be needed. By the looks of the virtual stadium, you will not be able to see it from the Eastern stand (the top deck is about two storeys higher) & will be too far away in the Sou...

[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
Adelaide oval will look great, yes the members is lower, but it looks very similar to the Eastern stand, the roofs will be identical. The grassed hill is nowhere near the size it used to be, as there used to be only 8 rows of seats now there is 18 rows. I wish they had built a northern stand too &am...
