Height is 101m. Height Limit is 53m. They have serious concerns with excessive height, excessive occupants, insufficient bike parks and lack of communal facilities. Re: News & Developments: Port Adelaide
This end lot was always separate from the other lots which were acquired for the hotel construction, and has been up for sale for some time. The original footprint for the hotel consisted of several separate narrow titles which were acquired for the hotel development, with the exception of the one a...

The brick effect is welcome in the CBD, and in this case a nod to the warehouse across the road, without trying to copy it. The proper installation of the balcony greenery as per the renders will be critical to softening the final result. Hope it’s faithful to the render, unlike the Hanging Gardens ...

Re. the very limited shelter at the new station, this completely failed the test on Sunday with the heavy rain and wind. Two of my friends were waiting there during the afternoon for a train and were completely soaked. The shelter, as we all knew it would, did nothing to protect anyone under it. Th...

[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Incl. 115m Tower | $800 million
Subject to adequate space, the Festival site would be a good location. Not withstanding, the ultimate home for a concert hall would be adjoining the rear of a respectfully re-purposed Government House, with a beautiful footbridge over KWS to the Festival Plaza. Remove sections of the walls and fenc...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses
All good suggestions above. If light rail is out of the question how about a new electric bus shuttle service from Semaphore Jetty to Dock 2 Maritime Village (City of Adelaide Clipper Ship) via Semaphore Rd, Swan Tce, Hart St, Jervois Bridge, past Hart’s Mill, St Vincent St, new Port Dock Station, (...

[U/C] Re: Port Adelaide Dock Spur Line
Semaphore Beach is very poorly served by public transport at present. The bus down Military Rd goes via back streets and West Lakes and takes nearly an hour to get to the CBD. There’s no bus down Semaphore Rd from the Jetty to Glanville Station or Port Adelaide. There once was both a tram and train ...

The market itself has been crowded and buzzing this week. Bit of a surprise given the reduced parking and closed off arcade.

[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Incl. 115m Tower | $800 million
The rear facade of Parliament House has its own unique architectural merit which current planners/architects and developers are intent on concealing. If there is a second tower the bottom levels should make a feature of it rather than hide it. If the second tower doesn’t get up, the current designs ...

Ethelton?.....Why even bother with this station! Why not rebuild Glanville a little further south and "delete" Ethelton. Yes folks some sort of "master plan" is needed for each line but will we get one, I doubt it..vision is something that doesn't come naturally for South Austra...
