Had to do a lap past today because I thought you all had the wrong address for a crane

Can't say i've ever seen a development get to this stage before installing a fixed crane, has there ever been another example of this?

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Also didn't Air Asia fly to Adelaide pre covid?

It's good news though, Jetstar currently have the monopoly with flights to Bali. Hopefully Virgin will recommence flights soon.

Would be great if Thai Airlines was the next airline to come here.

Yes they did and I think it was a KL flight, which ...

LOL I personally love this.

I also really hope the big 4 consultancies share the space with government departments. Also with a big 4 bank.
Patrick this is clearly not corruption though, it's "policy streamlining" .

Haha yeah, then the Big 4 could do regular audits and miraculously find ...

I definitely prefer the new design. The podium seems like a bit of a downgrade but the up-close renders reveal the diamonds are not just a pattern on flat walls but instead textured, even on the edges. A nice touch indeed 8)

Completely wrong place for it. I think it would suit much better at Cedar Woods, Glenside

I'll just chime in here to say I much prefer the version with the angled roof. It's only a small thing but I think it makes a huge difference to the look of the building 8)

For 2027 to be achieved, construction has to commence by the end of this year then.
I’d say by the end of this month.
Gosh I hope so!
I think Ben's comment was meant to be tongue in cheek in that construction would have to start by end of the month to be finished in 2027 :P

Why couldn't AirAsia do a Adelaide - Hong Kong service? I reckon that would be well received.

Yep, it's become pretty obvious that said architectural firm is the go-to for clients that want a project done on the cheap, the roll call from 2 posts above is testament to that.

Unfortunately though, developers don't build stuff for fun. It has to stack up financially, that's not to say they ...

If you are wanting apartment living, it's a damn good location.

That it is and if I was in the market for a new apartment in the last few years it would've been at the top of my list.

I'm pretty sure the penthouse at the top of the building hasn't been sold yet, it will be the most expensive ...

Fix the dependency on cars or build homes that can better accommodate cars.

We'll never fix the dependency on cars in Adelaide until it becomes a traffic congested hell-hole. We are decades away from being at that point.

We also won't fix it because cars have become a status symbol in our ...
