I definitely prefer the new design. The podium seems like a bit of a downgrade but the up-close renders reveal the diamonds are not just a pattern on flat walls but instead textured, even on the edges. A nice touch indeed

I'll just chime in here to say I much prefer the version with the angled roof. It's only a small thing but I think it makes a huge difference to the look of the building

Yep, it's become pretty obvious that said architectural firm is the go-to for clients that want a project done on the cheap, the roll call from 2 posts above is testament to that.
