Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Well that makes access to Mt Woodroffe at little bit easier, for the one day per year it can be climbed

Would love to see a Gateway Arch like the one in St Louis, Missouri. Could be used as a "Gateway to the Outback" of sorts, and have elements of indigenous architecture to make it unique and relevant.

Does anybody have a mock up what the skyline would look like with all these 100m+ buildings? I like how Adelaide's skyline is centered around Westpac. With Vue up now, with others to come, the height of the buildings will be more spread out. It'd be interesting to see what this will look like.

I guess it's one of those rare circumstances where they built the church in the first place, so they're probably entitled to knock the thing down. It would be a different story were it a developer who had acquired the site and was going to level it and build services apartments in its place. I'm no...

I still can't believe we're putting an office tower in one of the premier public locations in Adelaide. I think it will be good for the space if there is a regular stream of people who can occupy the area on weekdays, buy their coffee from the precinct, eat at the restaurants, etc. With a constant ...

Outdoor heaters are great, if you're sitting right under one or next to one. Or like Mono said, go inside. If you smoke, sucks to be you don't it. Atlantis will fail, just like their venture across the road next to Savvy 5-6 years ago. Just like the "new" Heaven on Pultney failed. You kno...

Frustrating that you can't book a trip to Tasmania with Jetstar from ADL, even through Tullamarine or Avalon.
Very infuriating having to purchase each leg separately.

I have often wondered what the viability of a Bali hub was. Theoretically, with cheap flights to and from Bali from most destinations, it should be the cheapest option. Ridiculous transit arrangements aside, the Balinese should really craft this opportunity. I myself would not travel to Bali as a ma...

Will there be a possible expansion of Tiger from ADL to other destinations, other than BNE, SYD or MEL?
Would be great to have a low cost carrier to Asia return.

Interesting, that could nudge it in as the second tallest in Adelaide, third if including the new Sofitel building.
This progress scares me.
