Had a closer look now. Hard to fault this. I see carnage at the approx. 100m merge zone where north bound Motorway vehicles exit to take Ayliffes Rd and surface South Rd drop to get on to the Motorway, but there seems plenty of space south of this zone they can extend to simplify the merging. But therein lies the problem.. Currently the parklands do not present in many areas as green inviting spaces. They are in many parts dry barren dustbowls, that cut the city off from the inner suburbs, and create a dark and foreboding barrier at night. Any effort to encourage more irrigation, and us...

so what's stopping this from being upgraded to 40 stories? I thought there weren't any height restrictions in this part of the CBD these days.

I'm pretty sure 292-300 is the location of the Old East end markets that closed in the 80s. It includes the buildings on the front that have san churo, oyster bar but the proposal might include keeping them.
