A lot of no-name brands. I’m surprised watches of Switzerland have bothered staying whilst LV haven’t even confirmed a permanent store.
They would be better in the city

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Also didn't Air Asia fly to Adelaide pre covid?
It's good news though, Jetstar currently have the monopoly with flights to Bali. Hopefully Virgin will recommence flights soon.
Would be great if Thai Airlines was the next airline to come here.
Still wishing for Cathay..

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
LOL those comments. They start off logical and thoughtful, and descend into the usual Internet.
I think it'll be quite popular, but I reckon they'll keep it a seasonal thing a while before going to a couple weekly flights.
I’m sick of reading the online comments about like “who would want ...

See Rundle is clearly where it’s at. Burnside doesn’t seem to do it for brands.

[SWP] Re: Festival Plaza Tower 2 | 160m | 38 Levels | Office
I’m a bit confused over the angst on this development.
1. It has not been pristine open parkland for over 150 years
2. It has had previously a very ordinary public bath complex there, and some other rather ordinary buildings adjacent
3. After the baths, it was a hot barren wasteland, albeit with ...

I am so looking forward to having our first skyscraper at Festival Plaza, then it being overtaken by the Keystone building :)
Will be a great time for Adelaide.
Will be exciting to watch them both race to the top. Festival tower has a head start, so will probably claim “tallest building” for ...

Ah yes, I found the ID, but documents doesn't seem to be there yet. Thats fine.
Great to read all that. I just hope the pool is being done to an exceptional standard, bc that's what truly brings a hotel to the next level of luxury.
cheers

Hi everyone. New plans have been lodged with the planning dept with a lot more detail. I'll post a copy here later today for you all to have a look at.
Regarding the pool - most swimming pools are an afterthought "compliance' design to tick a box. Our spa and pool level is designed to be an ...

Not to be full of myself, but it’s in the exact form I predicted last year in this thread.

The ONLY suitable place for signage on the northern facade is where I’ve circled in red.
Anywhere else will look dogshit and ruin the facade.

Accounting firms EY and PWC, the ATO (Australian taxation office), and the Commonwealth are in talks about becoming anchor tenants for the new tower.
More announcements in coming weeks.
