First Glasgow have a similar system which I used a few times and it's fine, as long as you have the QR code ready upon boarding.

this kind of attitude really grinds my gears why would you force something to become less convenient to make a less convenient option viable... this authoritarian mindset which goes against market forces applies to so many bad ideas Sitting in traffic, spending money on petrol and depreciation is n...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
People in this thread advocate for electrification of that line all the time. It’s a bit of a stretch to say we’re not discussing that (whether it be health benefits or just good transport policy). The batteries are a good short term fix but they just need to get 25khz electrification done or someth...

Re: Riverlea (Buckland Park) | 12,000 dwellings | $3b
Pending any other recommendations from traditional owner groups this is probably the best approach. Had there been any suggestion of this before development started? A memorial park seems like an appropriate solution if boundaries can be identified. Pioneer Park in Gawler is a park on a former ceme...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Contracts, Service & Policy

we have 500 years of coal reserves and we're sending it all abroad to places like China who are developing their economy while ours is going down the toilet the only renewable that's reliable is hydro and that's not an option here...solar and wind are both heavily subsidised, unreliable and ruin th...
