Not Much information on this as it was lodged as part of the new reforms but potentially a big development judging by the cost ($100m) and land size.

I noticed that the car park opposite this site has been closed and fenced in. Would that be for a separate development (I remember something about a low-income housing project) or could it be to house machinery etc. for 43-69 Sturt?

If this goes ahead, then we will have a true southern CBD skyline. Bring it on!

Having a look through the PDF, this looks very exciting. The mix of buildings and plaza, and how they seem to have really thought about pedestrian flow through the development and towards both the markets and the parklands, look great.

This project definately puts to shame the ACC's project next door. It makes it seem like something you'd buy at a $2 dollar shop....

Looks great, but I'll believe it when I see it.

+1.
It could be successful if the pricing is reasonable for what you get. Will be a big beneficiary of stamp duty exemption.
The location is outstanding - few minutes walk from City South tram stop, and 2 blocks from Central Market, Gouger St restaurants and Chinatown.

And hopefully it will push upgrading the City South stop - which still remains unsheltered and unsafe.

great idea, and a great location. I just hope the time line for completion is not 30 years like the Balfours/old bus station development.
Bring it on

Looks great! Love the mix of façades and treatments. It's like what the Precinct could have looked like if the developers put more thought into it...
