Victoria must feel pretty stupid for not selling the naming rights to the MCG then!

Seriously though, there would be anarchy if they tried to sell the naming rights to Adelaide oval.

The Adelaide Oval brand is extremely well known across the country and even parts of the world and will only continue to get more popular once the AFL moves in. So it will be very wise to keep the name despite the millions the Government would make from selling the naming rights.

It's also includes the name 'Adelaide' which is great for our city gaining more global exposure. However the naming rights for the Southern Plaza and other things should be sold off. Maybe even the bridge aswell?

Caroma Stadium. Should explain the toilet seat effect.

But really, I do love the new design and I think Adelaide will gain much more from retaining the Adelaide Oval name, considering international cricket tests are played there and televised across the world.

Actually, instead of Caroma, (puts silver spoon in) it would be just splendid to go and view the cricket at Royal Doulton. :D
cheers,
Rhino

Disgusting! But extremely clever. Respec'. :)
It's = it is; its = everything else.
You're = you are; your = belongs to.
Than = comparative ("bigger than"); then = next.

Sterling innings chaps... I wonder if the 'National Heritage listing of the parklands would impede naming rights anyway? The MCG is listed and the closest commercial title I could find was the Myer Music Bowl, named for the man not his company.

Big infrastructure investments are usually under-valued and & over-criticized while in the planning stage. It's much easier to envision the here and now costs and inconveniences, and far more difficult to imagine fully the eventual benefits.

thanks for your snaps Kasey. The eastern stand may take the longest to get off the ground caus it has the underground carpark I think. Nice to see the southern stand start the base, its a bit exciting

A big Yellow structural member went up(vertically) today in the Southern Stand. I wasn't the driver so I couldn't pull over and get a happy snap, sorry guys:(

I was reading an article recently about a local firm that is supplying some temporary steel support structure, the other week one of the first beams was put in place.
That yellow beam might be it?
