No, that yellow beam is a support beam. If you cast your mind back to the Western Stand construction those posts support the angled sections until set.
Walking on over....

Yeh I believe that's what the article was talking about. If my memory serves me, they had the owner of that local firm basically saying the same thing.

Dayamn that's a good shot :applause: :applause: , its wide circulation(tiser/messenger etc) shows just how much interest there is in this development...Wish we could have tattooed the naysayers on the forehead before it all started for shiggles;)
Big infrastructure investments are usually under-valued and & over-criticized while in the planning stage. It's much easier to envision the here and now costs and inconveniences, and far more difficult to imagine fully the eventual benefits.

Sorry about the first pic...it was only this morning that I realised that it was blurry:(

As a SACA member when the new Members stand was opened - quite a few deficiencies were noted. The SMA sought & received permission to allocate some of their funds towards rectifying those deficiencies.

Step 1 - a toilet being installed at the southern end of the Members Bar...how did they forget that in the first place?

I hated that first picture - the perfectionist in me demanded I rectify the situation:)
Of note:
the Northern gates are getting a make over,
there is a second vertical Yellow structural member in place at the Southern Stand worksite.
the Northern mound is coming along very quickly and should be done by the end of the month(my prediction) :2cents:
No new pictures taken of the Eastern Stand - it is still a big hole in the ground. No visible change from earlier pics - the hole might be deeper, but without a theodolite I couldn't tell;) .

Have been waiting to see what colour it is. Is it the same green as in the member's stand? Are there varied shades or mixed colours?

The colour scheme will be the same as the members around the oval when finished.

Thanks guys.

Matt, do you mean the green only, or will some maroon be used?

I think the maroon seating will depend on whether there are special members sections like the western stand in the southern and eastern stands.
The maroon seats in the western stand are padded unlike the majority teal/aqua seats.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
