This is a new development I just saw in The Advertiser yesterday. It's on Gouger street, near
West Terrace.
Looks like this 'no stamp duty in the city' policy as well as low interest rates are going to result in
several new developments in the CBD.

There's very little information on the website at this stage, I feel
that it's a proposal which has been put together quickly in response to the 'no stamp duty in
the city' policy..

The proposal has been around for a lot longer than the stamp duty exemption.

And let's see this end of Gouger Street narrowed, too.

Nice! Be good to see Gouger St fill up as one continuous activity strip to West Tce - shops, restuarants, apartments etc

Would also be great to see the Bob Jane and general car repair place on either side of Gouger to get the heave-ho. They definitely act as a psychological barrier for people dining on Gouger. They also do nothing for the street itself. I'm not particularly a fan of Cane Corner either.

Looks good enough. More of a step back from Gouger might have better suited the street's scale, but it's a simple, tidy design that will liven up the western end of the strip.
