I'm sorry to go off topic mods, but what exactly is "dressing black"? Define dressing black?Phantom wrote:I find it odd, they're celebrating a new and exciting shopping mall in Adelaide, by having a concert by white kids who dress like they're black. This ironically is something you see all the time at the old Elizabeth City Centre shops...
I'll give you a visual..
Hip hop culture does not start and end with black people. It might not be your cup of tea, but that doesn't mean that other non-black people don't enjoy that style of music.
This idea that white people or asians cant wear basketball singlets or baseball caps is absurd and only shows your own ignorance of the world you live in. Grow up.
And on the topic of the opening, I think you guys will find there will be quite a few older people there.
And it might not be such bad marketing, given that those young people who are undoubtedly going to attend a free concert, will grow up to be the consumers of tomorrow.
