Sorry guys yeah they worked for me in the preview, then didn't after that. I had linked to images stored on drop box. When I can figure out how to upload them I will put them on. Until then I think this link should work:

Surprisingly, that seems like a very difficult question to answer (officially). But, according to
here and
here, it seems like we'll be looking at approx 134m wide by 180m long (fence to fence).
That's compared to Footy Park (145 x 177), MCG (148 x 174) and Docklands (129 x 160).
I seem to recall reading that the ground was being made slightly wider and shorter, as well as the pockets being chopped off a bit so they weren't quite as 'deep'. In essence, making the shape of the ground more of a true oval.
Thanks, and yes it is a difficult question to answer. I have emailed both the SMA and Baulderstone's a couple of times, and neither have had the courtesy to even reply to me.

Man, that picture is awesome! It's photos like this and of the River Torrens at night that really do show how fantastic Adelaide looks!

Agree. Thanks everyone for posting photos as development progresses.
The night view adds another interesting dimension.
Looking across the Torrens from a function at the Festival Centre a few years back, I was really impressed with the view when the Adelaide Oval was all lit up for a cricket match. And that was before this fab redevelopment. How much better will it be now?
The new footbridge, improved lighting along rejuvenated cycle/walkways and extra lighting around the complex will make this a popular addition to many photo galleries of Adelaide.

Ive wondered that. My guess is that its to do with fitting in with the height of the cricket side screens for the summer sport.

Cheers, that makes sense.
For anyone that has instagram search the #adelaideoval tag, there are some ripper pics of the redevelopment from all the workers.

I don't know if this has been answered in previous threads, but would the Adelaide Oval be compliant to host a Commonwealth Games [or even Olympic Games]? Has there been room allowed for a running track etc in the current plans?
