125 sold according to the website -> they could nearly go ahead and build based on that.
That swimming pool looks so dodgy, how can they have a pool on the edge of a building like that ?

Been or seen the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore? That's over 200 metres tall with a pool that sits on the top of the building.
Im sure at 52m we are ok. Usually a safety ledge is placed alongside the pool so occupants cant fall out.

Pool aside, hopefully these figures are true.
With this potentially going up we have Ibis, Art, Aria, Vision, South Terrace, when was the last time we have 5+ residential towers being built.

As of today, 136 have been sold according to the website. People seem to be going crazy after itghs wrote:125 sold according to the website -> they could nearly go ahead and build based on that.

Ha! They deleted my slightly snide comment on the youtube video, about the coffee machine being a selling point.

Where does their website say that they have 136 sales? Please don't tell me that you actually clicked thru their floorplan and counted all the red apartments.Shahkar wrote:As of today, 136 have been sold according to the website. well this is exactly what we want to see. If its true then the stamp duty concessions are working. Latest months stats shows SA had the highest home loan approvals in the country. When was the last time this happened. WA and Qld maybe experiencing a little downturn in their economies, while we seem to be plodding along like normal, infact the lower $AUD will benefit our state quite a bit. And finally, after a couple of years of declines, international students are on the rise again, although not a huge increase. Could be an interesting few years for our city growthShahkar wrote:As of today, 136 have been sold according to the website. There's chinese investors behind this development.
I don't believe the sales figures at all.
Regarding the swimming pool, the render should display a glass safety wall
on the side of the building - it looks ridiculous.

Is it just my imagination, or does this render look like it's somewhere in the foot hills and not in Grote St?
If you look in the background, it looks like the CBD is quite a distance off. Looks like they are even using an old image as a background..no red Westpac sign, rather a blue State Bank..
The view doesn't look like something only 50m high.
Anyone ever been to the Embassy on North Tce for example, top floor penthouse north west corner? You wont get views like that from this proposed development.
Even if you give or take a few meters for differences in terrain levels.

The video is not that bad.
Although that part about the coffee machine is also ridiculous.
Is it a chinese coffee machine ?
