I'm not unhappy with this. Quality over quantity.

The minimum height limits for that area are 27m.Wayno wrote:We have minimum height limits? are they documented somewhere for all to see? Will wrote:....and barely above the minimum height limits.

I love the look of this building. It's modern and eyecatching. I wholeheartedly agree that quality is much more important than quantity, but doesn't anyone else notice the trend that many of the new buildings 4 storeys and below around the city are of superior quality of design (UniSA buildings, Advertiser building etc) yet many of the new ones being proposed of late which are over that height are bland slabs of glass with awful bare concrete walls? Why? It annoys me very much!

I don't mind it at all. The timber louvers remind me of the SBS headquarters in Melbourne.
Nice, but needs to be twice the height.

Not impressed with this one for two reasons. Lack of height: where they could've easily gone higher within the regulations; and the louvres: on the eastern perspective where they weren't (really) necessary!

I don't mind it. At least it'll be better than that car park.

Doesn't look half bad IMO. Is this one going to have a tower crane?

Just informing people that this hasn't been abandoned completely. They've applied for another 12 month extension of their development plan consent.

I was walking down Wyatt Street today and noticed a for lease sign up on this site. I don't walk down here every day so I am not sure if it has been up for long, but given the lack of damage/graffiti it might be new and an indication this project hasn't completely died.
Sorry, not sure why that's appearing upside down. It doesn't before I attach.

What's with the boring glass box on the sign? The previous render (as shown in that PDF) is infinitely better.

Looks like it's being releaunched. Once again way too small for this area of the CBD. I rememeber the original proposal 17 levels, much more appropriate for the location.
