Thanks Xara, haven't been out here for a while. It's coming along quite nicely. I had my doubts about Big W, being a 40 year old untouched section of building.
That tree always bothered me, they have a massive store sign, but it couldn't even be seen until 50 meters from the entrance. And I feel that tree was more messy than pleasant.
Hard to tell in this photo, as it may be out of frame, but have they finally removed that tree from the Goodwood Road side of the carpark?Xaragmata wrote:Pics from Monday:

Looking forward to a free-flowing Adelaide!

I was busy looking at the building, but I think the tree was still there, along with that awkward entry / exit.neoballmon wrote:Thanks Xara, haven't been out here for a while. It's coming along quite nicely. I had my doubts about Big W, being a 40 year old untouched section of building.

Pics from Tuesday - Woolies due to reopen on 27/11 (?)

And its open for business! Had a quick look in tonight, didn't get to park in the underground car park so can't report on that. Inside of the supermarket is quite spacious with a very high exposed ceiling - kind of reminds me of Foodland at Pasadena. Branding is slightly different with a blackboard texture happening on all the signage throughout. Overall, it's a huge improvement over the previous store and twice the size.
