Article about the drop-in pitches...

I love that Les Burdett stockpiled 400 tonnes of soil over 30 years ago. Give that man a beer!
It's = it is; its = everything else.
You're = you are; your = belongs to.
Than = comparative ("bigger than"); then = next.

walked past today and they were testing one of the screens out the front of southern stand and it was synchronised to the huge one on the hill from what I could see, other one out front wasn't working as yet.

Ran some laps around the external perimeter last night, god that southern stand looks like quality with the copper facade. Will the eastern stand get the same treatment?
Also, I am watching Open Mike on Fox Footy as we speak...very interesting that when asked what the biggest achievement of his 10 years as CEO of the AFL, Andrew Demitriou replied "helping to facilitate the deal between football and cricket to bring football back to Adelaide Oval". I found that remarkable.

The new screen looks amazing, can't believe how big it is! It's bigger than the old scoreboard!

The entrance on Pennington Terrace should be open on the North West corner of the oval between the Members Stand and the hill and you can just walk right in and go on the hill during the day.

If they're still working on the gates, you might not be able to. Not sure, though.

Went there recently, approx a week ago, and access was blocked to the general public due to construction work on the Clarrie Grimmet gates/northern entrance.
