This just in! Harris Scarfe (HS) is returning to Elizabeth where Myer was after 7-8 years!
For starters, my avatar is the well-known Adelaide Aquatic Centre insignia from 1989.

Re: Beer Garden
I book all my holidays myself online. Have done since 1998. But this is only because I am confident with my ability to find the correct information. As you said some people have no idea and prefer to book with an agent. There was that story of the US couple who booked a week in Sydney online, but got on the flight and ended up here...Ho Really wrote:If you are only booking flights go straight to the airline's website. Especially if they are a LCC. Agents these days make no commission on airfares. You can also try the comparison sites like Webjet, Zuji (owned by Webjet), Skyscanner, Expedia, CheapOair, Cheapflights, Lastminute, Jetabroad, FareCompare, etc., to get an idea of prices. They are not always cheaper than the airline so shop around. Also if you fly regularly sign up for the newsletters and specials. If you can buy airfares early airlines still do Earlybird specials. If not, depending on the airline there are periods when it is best to book to get the cheapest rates. Here you need to do some research.monotonehell wrote:People who use travel agents to book a package.Nathan wrote:Who goes off to book flights these days, when the Qantas/Jetstar/Virgin/Tiger websites are sitting right there?

Re: Beer Garden
I've noticed a severe lack in photo updates for a lot of projects around the CBD and the metro area (except maybe Adelaide Oval). Can we please have more photo updates for those of us living interstate? Thanks

Not sure where this article goes, but it is in The Evening Standard UK and is a very good advertisement for what we have to offer visitors.

^ More of this, please. We can't even manage to get the bike lanes installed without panic, confusion, and ripping them up again.Vee wrote:'Protected intersections'

I heard the couple interviewed on TV. IIRC they were British not American, and they started to realise their mistake when they changed planes in Canada (as they'd expected to do) and noticed the second plane was much smaller.monotonehell wrote:I book all my holidays myself online.
