Am I correct in assuming that metal beam sticking out of the southern side of CC2 is part of these "pods" that are to be built sticking out over that herritage building?

Went a bit nuts photographing CC2 this afternoon.
Who said Adelaide had an ageing population Bit of in-car glare.
My favourite, never tried this angle/area before:

Don't know whether anyone bought today's tiser? Big section in there about City Central and how it was the kick-start to Adelaide's building boom. I was hoping that they hinted to what was to come but no dice. A couple of renders of the completed CC2 to compliment but not really any new info. It also said that ACC was planning to revitalise Victoria Square and was putting $12.5m aside this financial year for the project. Will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Yeah Pistol78 there was a huge section about this, a lot of different articles. It was all fairly uplifting to read for a change. Here is the clearest, most up-to-date render I have seen for this project in today's Advertiser:
Another fact from the articles was that CC1 has been 100% leased now as well. That is a great effort. It shows the demand for modern, green office space is big in Adelaide. Sounds like they are still aiming for the CC3 office tower but it sounds like it will definitely be a re-design. The GPO hotel proposal is still a goer too by the sounds of the articles. A year or two before we see these though I reckon. Next one is the small-scale Electra House refurb which will be good.

Phwoar, looking sweet in those shots. The reflective glass will compliment the adjoining town hall very well. Me likes it.
I like that angle that captures all 3 new developments, looking to the south-east. Hopefully ACC has some development regulations concerning future development impact on sun access down waymouth, as without it it wouldnt be so classical.

Great pics Pikey, great perspectives. Another crane rise for CC2 today? Looks like it from the ABC webcam. Also looks like the advertising has gone back up on the site too from this cam, go to http://rexel.adam.com.au/ under live interactive viewing then King William Street. Doesn't always work but when it does you can move the cam around too. Great for watching the tram extension works too.

A couple of pics from this afternoon. Starting to like this one, hopefully it turns out well and compliments CC1 nicely.
