I suppose with the success of a building like Vue, it might be the catalyst for other similar/larger buildings to go up in the Southern End of the CBD, enough residents and we might start seeing more retail in the southern end of town.

Going on the last few posts, does anyone know what the residential capacity of Vue is? What about Quest? The wave? Must be a fair few with Mayfield added. Threshold for many types of retail activity cant be too far away for that area.

Correct, it's a whole new precinct - city south. Ergo is going up as well.

And don't forget a few of the smaller ones around the area......corner of South Terrace and Morphett Street is very close to completion (forget the name of it), Forme Projex in the middle of a new one on Gilbert Street (across the road from the IGA), and a tiny 10 apartment building recently completed on Norman Street. Don't really notice these ones until you walk around the area.

In behind Vue is the weekend Market Hall which is a neat place to hang out for brekkie or coffee. Also great yum-cha in the old Brecknock hotel for a perfect Sunday morning feast. Not to mention the IGA supermarket and nearby few restaurants. All these businesses, and the general area, will soon become a hive of activity...

Crane is on the way up as we speak. It'll be nice to see another Favco on the skyline.

Also, the tower section of the crane won't be too tall to begin with, from what I saw this morning. There was only 8 or so sections of tower, with the platform and climbing collar waiting to be delivered on the trucks lined up on King William St.

The crane says Maxcon, so I'm going to take my chances and say them.

Synergy Construct are building 115 King William also.

Have they done any other major constructions in Adelaide previously?

Are they related to Synergy Project Management? If so, I have some real worries about the build.
