Brilliant news! Let's hope Starfish end up snapping up a few more sites around the CBD.

The Launch is on Feb 24th. Can only hope this developer propose a new tallest one day. They certainly get on with the job.

I heard an add for this on the radio today. Full steam ahead.

I drove past the site on the weekend and the sales office is already half built. Compare that with U2 on waymouth which is STILL going, these guys really don't muck around.

Tenders are already being called for this

These guys have some serious selling power, just propose a new tallest already and get on with it!

Website has been updated.

Starfish have a standard package which they go for each time - a swimming pool, a view of a park / parklands
and reasonable pricing.
A swimming pool would be enticing for me.

That render just highlights the need for taller buildings in Adelaide.
Don't get me wrong though, it would still be a pretty nice view.

perhaps if we stopped building tallish buildings on parklands, and got them moved into the physical CBD we'd have a different skyline.crawf wrote:That render just highlights the need for taller buildings in Adelaide.

It's an illusion because of a decision by the artist to make the city look further away than it is. If you stood in the actual spot when it's built, I bet the skyline would look a lot closer and loom bigger. Probably a marketing decision to make the place seem 'close to the city, but not right in it.'crawf wrote:That render just highlights the need for taller buildings in Adelaide.
