Masters stores have been struggling and the decision was made to open fewer stores
a couple of months ago :

I think the decision to pull out of Glynde was more because the existing stores are struggling rather
then problems with the council.

I went past today and would say it's almost guaranteed to open Saturday. Fence is down and the place is swarming with Masters staff making last minute preparations.

Maybe but it looks completely ready to open now. As I said they've even taken the fence down.

It seems to be opening on Tuesday - https://www.masters.com.au/Stores/SA-OP ... rport-7804 just looks at the opening hours.

According to that it opened on Monday 15th, but it didn't.

It just says opening soon in all days before the 23rd. So it must be opening on Tuesday since it's the first day with actual times

Obviously there have been some delays which is not uncommon. I am sure they would have wanted to open
at least 1 week before christmas.

The website is a pain in the arse - said it was open today last week and now says it's open tomorrow but "opening soon" on today's hours, seriously Woolworths not very professional

I know. I've seen different pages on the Masters site today. One of them says it opens today, another just says December, and yet another says it opens sometime in 2015 but doesn't specify when!

Went passed yesterday and it looked open.

Dog of a location? This thread is discussing the Masters store next to Ikea. You surely couldn't get a better location than that.

Anyway it definitely wasn't open yesterday or today when I looked. The car park is blocked off by a big sign that says "Opening Soon".
