From $340k for one bedroom with no carpark? Is that a bit much? Anyone know what Vue pricing started at?

[COM] Re: 150 Wright Street | 73m | 23 Levels | Bohem Apartments
It's a little pricey for 50m2 internal, but the floor plan isn't too bad (the one bed plus carpark floor plan is a bit better laid out though).
The key with smaller apartments is always the floor plan. I've seen some terrible ones which are designed in such a way you can't even put a bookcase up. If they're designed right though they can work incredibly well.

Now on realestate.com.au :
http://www.realestate.com.au/project-bo ... -600007503
Sales centre is now open from 10am to 4pm - Wednesday through to Sunday.
March 2018 Estimated Completion date , but I imagine that could be brought forward if the
sales are strong.

Check the plans on the first page of this thread. It has 23 levels.ghs wrote:Thread title update please - it's 21 levels, not 23.

That's from about 6 months ago though, it's now 21 levels.

As far as I am aware, no application has been lodged to reduce the height of this building.ghs wrote:That's from about 6 months ago though, it's now 21 levels.
What are you basing your claims on?

Bohem website says 21 storeys
With breathtaking, uninterrupted views from its 21 storeys – bohem offers a variety of luxuriously appointed 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

long time lurker thought I'd finally join.
I visited the sales office on site today. The representative there told me that 1/3 of the apartments have been sold, construction is hoped to start November. I asked how many floors it is and he said "21".... What's going on here haha

Re: the levels thing.
I went to the planning documents and it is 23 levels as per the heading.
The confusion is probably arising because according to the plans, the 23 levels are designated as:
Ground Floor
Level 1
|
v
Level 21 Penthouse
Level 22 Penthouse Loft/Roof Plant
So it's easy to see how depending on how 'levels' are counted/named:
* 21 levels if you ignore ground floor and consider penthouse as one
* 22 levels if you ignore ground floor (as 22 levels are 'named')
* 22 levels if you include ground floor but combine the penthouse loft into the main penthouse
* 23 levels if you include ground floor and also penthouse loft/roof plant separately

Bit old now but I stumbled across this and found it amusing. Regarding the "monster tower" and "Rau's Draconian planning reforms".

Can't wait to see the project finished and have those people move away. They are the reason why Adelaide is so backward.
