A couple of pictures from today (9 mar 2015). I apologise for the wire fencing in the picture. I noticed today that the crane only covers about 2/3 of the site and so I think a second crane at the north east side diagonally opposite the current crane may be necessary?

What appears to be a core box - can't tell as it's completely enveloped in black fencing - has appeared at western edge of site. However I'm a bit confused with this one though as I thought this is where the tunnel portals for the Underground City Loop was going to go?

If the plans have changed, I suspect the plans for the tunnel portals have shifted to either go on the NE flank of the Torrens Junction, where they currently stable some of the 3000 / 3100 railcars or before the Torrens River rail bridges of the OH / GA lines.

I can confirm I've seen plans for both options.

I thought it was next door under the UniSA building, not the UofA Med School. Just saying underground rail in the city probably wont happen anytime in the next 50 years, our state govt cant even finish rail electrification, only a little extension of it to Dry Creek/Salisbury has been put off until 2019-2020..

Here are some pictures taken on Saturday 11 Apr. the black boxes look like lift cores or stair wells. It is hard to get a good picture at the west end due to the thick green plastic mesh on the fence.

A concrete pump has now been erected on this site. The old skate board site was in full (unofficial) use over the weekend.

It's been like it for the past week and a bit, but the second core box has been steadily rising from the centre of the site. It looks like it's 2 floors high (levels B1 and B2) below North Terrace - same as the core on the western side of the site.

The central core box has more of an angular shape to it, which evidences the portal for the CBD rail tunnels.

A partial shot from the west end. Columns are now being poured from for the basement Level ( rail track Level). It is hard to get a decent shot due to the green plastic on the fence.

This site now has a second concrete pump at the east end near the second crane. Also the lift core at the east end is now visible from the street level.

This site is making some progress. picture as at 7 June . The skate board park is still busy.

Isn't it still fenced off?... what a joke.

Just shows the city NEEDS a skate park. Before UniSA commences actual work, start planning for a new city park elsewhere before the whole city turns into one massive skate park.

Calm down mate. The development of a +$100m medical education building is a little more important than where kids are going to skate. Geez when I was younger we didn't have the luxury of such a skate park and still found ways to skate.
