I'd like to see the link the Rail station with the tram stop out, completely avoid the elements and making a true interconnected system - not sure how to do that without digging up the road!!!

Could that be achieved by running some stairs/escalators from the pedestrian underpass under North Tce up to the existing platform?

Not enough room i would have thought.

Probably could have done the escalator thing with normal tram stops. But agree that there's not enough room in the centre island stop.

The Murray Valley Standard reports that the first of four new steel-hulled River Murray ferries (to replace the old wooden-hulled ferries) is now making its way on the river to Morgan for second stage works.

Bowhill Engineering altered original plans for assembly/delivery from road to river.

If you are heading north why would you want to know how far places behind you are? Cross checking if the sign says 45mins to lonsdale and you can look at your clock and say "but I left there 55mins ago!"

I thought he was talking about the sign in the first pic several posts ago, which I believe is a sign over south rd as you head north. It has the exact destinations mentioned.
Apparently the signs from both south rd and port adelaide directions must give the same info.
