Could that be achieved by running some stairs/escalators from the pedestrian underpass under North Tce up to the existing platform?Waewick wrote: I'd like to see the link the Rail station with the tram stop out, completely avoid the elements and making a true interconnected system - not sure how to do that without digging up the road!!!

Re: News & Discussion: Transport Projects
Probably could have done the escalator thing with normal tram stops. But agree that there's not enough room in the centre island stop.

The Murray Valley Standard reports that the first of four new steel-hulled River Murray ferries (to replace the old wooden-hulled ferries) is now making its way on the river to Morgan for second stage works.
Bowhill Engineering altered original plans for assembly/delivery from road to river.
New age for ferries begins

Re: News & Discussion: Transport Projects
Almost 30 travel time signs will be activated on key arterial roads today giving motorists and truck drivers real time information about traffic flows.
The times for your current road and adjacent routes are displayed on the variable messaging signs to help you compare and assess different journey options.

There's one on Grand Junction road heading north towards the Superway
Re: News & Discussion: Transport Projects
Very happy to see these finally enabled, but they should have more southern destinations on the PREXY signs, not just the times for Salisbury and NEXY.

Grand junction is an east-west road?GoodSmackUp wrote:There's one on Grand Junction road heading north towards the Superway
Re: News & Discussion: Transport Projects
If you are heading north why would you want to know how far places behind you are? Cross checking if the sign says 45mins to lonsdale and you can look at your clock and say "but I left there 55mins ago!"Norman wrote:Very happy to see these finally enabled, but they should have more southern destinations on the PREXY signs, not just the times for Salisbury and NEXY.

I'm talking about PREXY coming from Port Adelaide, just after the Tom Diver Bridge.bits wrote:If you are heading north why would you want to know how far places behind you are? I thought he was talking about the sign in the first pic several posts ago, which I believe is a sign over south rd as you head north. It has the exact destinations mentioned.rhino wrote:

Apparently the signs from both south rd and port adelaide directions must give the same info.
Re: News & Discussion: Transport Projects
How is the time calculated for these travel time signs?
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
Re: News & Discussion: Transport Projects
