Nice to see a return to numbered floors too.

This one is climbing fast now. Core rise every week. Up to 4 now.

2 floors are complete at the rear. This site is going to be hard to get good pictures at least until it rises above its neighbours. Pic Sunday 2/8/15

You can see why the construction cost is so cheap! Barely anything going on structurally.
[COM] Re: 115 King William Street | 90m | 26lvls | Office
It does seem to be taking longer than it should. Having said that this is the same Company building Vue and that is going gang busters, you could even say ahead of schedule. I own a building company and by no means do we do projects of this size but I know from experience the nature of a site, it's access and egress and project management of trades due to how awkward or small a site is can most certainly have implications on time frames and projects just don't move along as they should.

I think it's moving along quite fast now. Core rose every 5 days and one floor per week too. Up to level 5 now.

Fairly small site? is this going to be extended into the back lane or the Ambassador outdoor area by any chance?
*Looks at Dyson Airblade Factory* "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure"

It looks like a nightmare, turning trucks around and backing them into waymouth place with morning peak traffic shuffling its way down Waymouth St.serca wrote:It does seem to be taking longer than it should. Core up to level 6 now. There will also have to be a crane height rise very soon as the core cannot go up another level until this is done.
[COM] Re: 115 King William Street | 90m | 26lvls | Office
The lane (Hall Court) at the rear is not a dead end. It does a left hand turn (twice) and comes back out on to Waymouth Street. but this is suitable only for cars not trucks. The lane way is open to public cars on weekends, (well small cars at least). Check it on Google earth web site. Yes it is a very congested site and relies heavily on the "just in time " deliveries.
[COM] Re: 115 King William Street | 90m | 26lvls | Office
As mentioned, core is up to level 6, the floor plates up to level four.
[COM] Re: 115 King William Street | 90m | 26lvls | Office
Core up to level 7 and the crane height was increased slightly over the weekend.
[COM] Re: 115 King William Street | 90m | 26lvls | Office
Another core rose today. Up to level 8. Will need a crane rise now before another one can happen.
