Here is a picture of the West (Morphett St) Side from last week (6th Feb). The scaffolding has largely been removed from the west and south sides.

I quite like it actually, even though its short and stubby - its growing on me...
And just wait until all the scaffolding is removed from the south facing wall where those grid-like balconies are, I think it will look quite striking.
Plus, there aren't any large and prominent blank walls to speak of on this one - always a plus for emerging buildings in Adelaide

Here it is catching the remains of last night's sunset along with Quest and Rowlands. I think the upper part of southern façade is a bit naff, dominated by small windows. I assume the northern side is also similar. Actually don't mind the western side and, at any rate, it ranks comfortably above the dingy buildings it replaced.

Very nice photo, that's a great time of day to get a photo and tends to highlight the newer (read: more glass) buildings around town.
To my eye I don't think this is a bad looker at all - very thankful it's glass all around, they've at least tried to make it not look anonymous and yes - it's a shining beacon of perfection relative to the block it is located within.

Doesn't look too bad at all in that light, nice photo! Agree that the North and South sides look a little plain, but sure beats an entirely windowless wall.
With any luck they will soon bash down the monstrosities directly to the right in this photo and build up the area a little more.

It's so ugly but it fits in well with the building across the road. To me it's helped lift the amenity of the Area more than anything.

The proportions of this building are all wrong IMO... it is WAY too bulky, something that could've easily been rectified by using the materials to break up and delineate the northern and southern facades (cheap) or even constructing separate towers (expensive but ultimately ideal). Considering its proximity to Light Square (and Whitmore Square due to the lack of height in the area) really disappointed that the planning regulations/DAC let this one through.

Can't be any worse than those iFuckd apartments further west. I guess I can see for myself next time I swing by Australia.

I don't mind this one at all. Is it the most spectacular piece of architecture to ever be built in this city? No. But it's a fine, fairly inoffensive building in my opinion. I'm not too keen on the eastern wall judging by Norman's picture however.
Quality of these photos took a dive when I uploaded and resized them.
As I've mentioned before, this kind of reminds me of a fatter version of Quest on King William South.
Fits in quite well with surrounding buildings.
The western wall is a tricky bugger to photograph at ground level.
Green scaffolding still to come down on the northern wall.

I agree that the western side is difficult to photograph at ground level.

Traffic controls were being put in place towards the end of peak hour this morning. Typically they do this for a mobile crane, so might see some more scaffolding coming down today.
