Slenderman - while the OP in this thread is biased toward self promotion, the poster's two other posts on this subject were both in the appropriate thread, and were progress reports of sorts. So your hyperbole is hyperbolic.

Workers are back onsite this week, excavating the site below ground level (as opposed to excavating above ground level )

Excavation work has stopped about 1 metre below ground level. Very clean looking site now.

2 truck mounted drilling/piling rigs were on site today (similar to the ones at Bohem). Sorry no time for a picture.

In the last 2 weeks they piled around and up against the house to be saved now piling is going ahead for the new building at the rear (northern end).

Piling appears to be complete. I'd say a crane is less than a month away. South terrace is booming.

No crane base as far as I can tell. Lots of concrete capping work going on around the perimeter.

As Wayno states there is no crane base yet and pile capping around the perimeter and also around the existing house being saved.

Serious excavation has stared all around the existing old house .It appears to be about 2 stories deep (at least for carpark levels).

Today they were excavating on south side (parklands side in front of old house ) moving east towards Hutt St.

I bet the original builders of this house had no idea that one day, way in the future, it would end up on concrete stilts.

Update as at 21 May 16.
1 ground floor is being formed up on west and east from site boundary to the old house.
2 the side wall piles have been infilled and rendered to give a smooth surface - south west corner.
3 piles for actual building north east corner near lane/Hutt St as distinct from piles to form basement side walls.
