More piling being done in the basement. This part of the site looks very wet compared to the rest of the site.

The actual basement floor was poured today. There is a service core right up against the lane way on the northern side (in front of the worker with the helicopter float) .Unfortunately I could not fit it into the picture.

Some pre fab concrete walls have been erected up to the first floor. Still no sign of a crane base and no idea where one would even go.

I believe this one will have a core mounted crane.Ben wrote:Some pre fab concrete walls have been erected up to the first floor. Still no sign of a crane base and no idea where one would even go.

I agree with Pikey in that the crane could be mounted in the core. Pre cast columns were erected for the lower (of the 2 level) basement car park. Picture 7/7/16

This project will have 2 basement levels. Picture from Saturday 23 July shows work on the floor level between the 2 basement levels
with a service core at the bottom of the picture. Still no sign of a crane base.

Work has now reached the street level. The bondek is now in place for the ground floor and the re-inforcement is ready to be placed and and the concrete should poured this week .If the crane is to be located in the service core it should go up in the next couple of weeks (?)

The ground floor level was poured today (Saturday 20 /8/16). The South Tce side is less developed. with just steel work only. The service core is located in the bottom right hand corner of picture 1.

Spoke with a worker this morning. Apparently no permanent crane will be used. He's unsure of the crane type to be used, but he said they are mobile and will recurringly arrive onsite when required.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
