Me too, I had a peek through the gate on Sturt Street and there is one (that I could see) sitting there, not sure where the other one is.

The excavators are pulling down the remaining structures on site.

THE display centre? Maybe they are going ahead with stage 2 while stage 1 gets sorted out. I imagine each would be under separate titles company's etc.

No, the derelict sheds behind the display centre.Ben wrote:THE display centre? Maybe they are going ahead with stage 2 while stage 1 gets sorted out. I imagine each would be under separate titles company's etc.

Seems that the digger is just cleaning up the site, sorting the rubbish into piles for removal one would assume.
Could see no evidence of any structures being demolished........ was hoping that high voltage structure in the north west corner was getting torn down, but not to be.

I checked out this site and yes an excavator was working on site but was just moving heaps of waste around; there was no sign of any demolition or construction at this stage. the transformer is still on the north west corner.

There's a small piling rig onsite today, and the site has been tidied up completely. Could be a good sign.

To be honest, all sounds a bit difficult just to add a pic I'll just continue on with my intelligent insights and comments

Regarding todays article in The Advertiser about the sale of Tagara's head office building in Glynde. They have wrongly written that the New Mayfield development is on Waymouth Street

This is a general picture of the site taken from Sturt St looking south to Gilbert St and beyond today (Sunday 30 Oct 16 ). Nothing has changed yet. The small piling rig was probably taking soil samples. Note the 111-113 South Tce apartment project in the background.
