Ambitious, to say the least.

Drove past today and they are excavating the site.

The demolition including excavating old foundations is complete and the site has been levelled. At present ( 13/11/16) the new work has not commenced.

I talked the sales agent the other day and she said a builder had been appointed and work was due to commence before the end of the year. If that happens or not though...

with only about 5 weeks until everyone shuts down for the Christmas break, I would be surprised to see any project commence any work if they haven't already. At best Kodo might do the demolition that they have talked about for months but given that they are only 60% sold at best, it still may be many more months yet. I think we all know now that U2 won't happen at all.

And not to be outdone, a sign on the fence around the New Mayfield site still says "construction commencing October 2014". You'd think they could at least remove it

It's unfair to be harsh on Kodo. They did appoint a builder around 6 months ago, but they never promised to start construction immediately.

In terms of U2, well that's a shambles. If anyone on the forum is looking for a car park in the city then the U2 block is vacant and the gate is open.
I've parked my car there a few times and no one has ever said anything. It just goes to show how unprofessional Datong are. The site has turned
into a free car park and Datong don't even seem to care about it. You would think they would at least close the gate lol.
