I'm wondering if Nordburger will do a sweet and sour pork burger or something as a China Town special...
*Looks at Dyson Airblade Factory* "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure"

For actuals? They've been threatening to open there for a while. Before that they were threatening to open in the Grenfell Street facing part of the new Haris Scarfe's building.

Roll'd Vietnamese are opening at City Cross in the old HJ space.
For starters, my avatar is the well-known Adelaide Aquatic Centre insignia from 1989.

Some bits and pieces around Rundle St:
Iberia on Rundle St looks like it's pretty close to completely their fit out.
AS Colour has finally opened their doors.
Another coffee shop "Bean Bros" opening where that cold press juice place was.
Saké Society opening a small pop-up sake bar on Ebenezer Pl (former Council of Objects space) for duration of the festival season - with apparently someone lined up for the space afterwards.

Yes, for sure. It is a pretty small space by their standards and IMO Rundle Place would have been better suited but it will be interesting to see how they lay this new store out.

Tiny but weird change. The bbq sandwich shop Slo Moe’s has shut in Rundle Place and been replaced by a Wendy's ice creamery. But with all the Slo Moe's kitchen and fit out still in place.

It looks really temporary, I think it's using the signage and units from the Royal Adelaide Show store because one of the signs says Show prices.

From their Facelook page:
The Slo Moe’s Rundle place store will cease operations effective Monday, February 13th.

Today we made the hard decision to close our Rundle Place food court store permanently. The store closure is mainly due to the high cost of operating in such a centre, making it difficult to work financially. We know we will have a bunch of dedicated Slo Moe’s customers who will be disappointed with this news, but as they say, 'when one door closes another one opens.'

We are looking at alternative sites for Slo Moe's, however this will take time to get right. In the meantime we are doing our best to reassign our staff to other areas of the Slo Moe’s business, which is important to us.

In the meantime, you will still see the Slo Moe’s brand popping up everywhere over the next few months and we hope you will continue to support us. Our food truck is almost ready and will hit the streets soon. Our Moe’s at Home (take home) product is already available in all Tony and Marks stores and over the next couple of weeks you will see it also available at Drakes, Romeo and Chapley independent IGA and Foodland supermarkets.
